  • What are the room amenities?
    All rooms are heated with new en-suite shower rooms in all Superior & Themed rooms re-fitted in 2021/22. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash, body lotion, shower cap & hand sanitizer supplied in all bathrooms. All rooms have a 32" freeview television, tea/coffee trays & hairdryers. Dressing gowns are supplied for each adult guest. USB charges fitted in the bedside lights in Themed Beach, Themed Woodland & rooms 7 & 8 Free Wi-Fi Honest box with a selection of soft drinks and snacks for guests to purchase.
  • What time do I need to check-in?
    Please provide us with an arrival time to ensure if arriving earlier in the day your room will be clean and ready for your arrival, if arriving in the afternoon we have staff booked in to cover your arrival time or we have time to make arrangements for collection of your room key if you need to arrive after our latest check in times. Check in times: Tuesday - Saturday : 12 noon - 6 pm. (Later arrivals till 9 pm see note) Sunday & BH Mondays : 12 noon - 4-30 pm Latest (This is the summer times, winter check in times will vary) If previous guests vacate early rooms can be available from 11 am this time is not guaranteed. (Note) Later arrivals till 9 pm Tuesday - Saturday only can be booked but have a late arrival fee of £5.00,(Payable direct to Spencer's Bar staff on collection of room keys) or keys can be left in our key box for free but only available if no payments are due on arrival. (Mobile number required) If you are delayed from your stated arrival time please let us know so instead of sitting and waiting we can run some errands, pop out to buy a sandwich or even take a sneaking walk around our lovely town.....
  • What time do I need to check-out?
    Check out on morning of departure is between 10.30 - 11 am. If your car is in the carpark please vacate by 12 noon for new arrivials, if you wish to leave the car for longer please check first. Bags can be left in reception if required, check with staff on duty on check out day to arrange a collection time.
  • Is there any food or breakfast?
    No food or breakfast is available on the premises. Rye has plenty of lovely places serving Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner in various locations and at various prices for guest to choose from, go out and explore what our Town has to offer.
  • Is there parking?
    Limited parking is available. If you wish to reserve a parking space this is charged at £5.00 per night all unbooked spaces are then left on a first in basis with no charge. Alternativley there are payable carparks either side of the The Regent. (Market car park is closed on Wednesday evening & Thursday day due to market) 2 x Electric car charging points are due to be fitted early 2023 which will reduce the number of spaces available to be reserved.
  • Is The Regent accessible?
    Access to the building is via a new walkway at the back of the building and then 3 steps into the entrance. All rooms are up one flight of stairs. The Themed Lodge room is up two flights of stairs.
  • Is The Regent open all year round?
    We close over Christmas and New Year each year. Open during January & February for bookings only, this is our maintance time of the year for deep cleaning, painting etc so limited rooms are available. Always best to send an e-mail if you need to ask a question as if we aren't onsite staff do have access to the e-mails.
